Now that you have passed your driving test take the Pass Plus Course - With Scotland's first Pass Plus Award Winner 2004
The Pass Plus scheme is aimed at new drivers to help them become better drivers. Your Approved Driving Instructor will help you complete the six training modules to pass the training course.
In November 2004, Brian Campbell won the DSA Pass Plus Award. This award was presented for the marketing of the scheme and was open to over 23,000 Instructors throughout the UK. Brian Campbell is the first Driving School to win this award in Scotland and 2nd winner in the UK.
Pass Plus is an established training course aimed at new drivers. It was designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry.
Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident in the first two years after passing their test, due to lack of driving experience.
Pass Plus builds on your skills and knowledge. It will teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards, to help you become a more confident driver.
Your Pass Plus course fees will be £180.00 with the use of the Instructors vehicle and £150 for instruction in your own vehicle (This includes DSA registration fee). A grant of £125.00 is usually available from the highland council. The course takes at least six hours.
